The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) recognizes its responsibilities under Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act (DPA) of 2012 with respect to the data it collects, records, organizes, updates, uses, consolidates or destructs from the public. The personal data obtained are entered and stored within ARTA’s information and communication system that is accessed only by ARTA’s authorized personnel.
The information collected and stored in ARTA’s system shall only be used for the following purposes:
1. Evaluation of possible violation of RA No. 11032 and other laws;
2. Exercise of fact-finding investigation of ARTA;
3. Reporting to other government agencies in case of referral and,
4. Other actions necessary for the exercise of ARTA’s mandate under the law.
Submitted complaint is not subject of a pending case or complaint with any government agency. *

Republic Act 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 is an act that aims to streamline the current systems and procedures of government services. It is the landmark law of the Duterte administration that addresses priority number 3 of its 0+10 Point Socio-economic Agenda. This particular agenda pertains to improving the competitiveness of and ease of doing business in the Philippines. Signed into law on 28 May 2018, the law effectively amends Republic Act 9485 or the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007.
